๐๏ธ Media Watermarking
Watermarks are usually a transparent stamp, logo, or or signature that has been superimposed onto an existing image. Thus, they are considered part of an image, and cannot be easily removed (they can be cropped out or Photoshopped away). CollectiveAccess can automatically add a visible watermark to image derivatives. The watermark pattern is a graphic provided by the user; it can be a logo, text or anything else that can be expressed in a bitmap format. Watermarking is applied as derivatives are created.
๐๏ธ Media Mirroring
All media uploaded to CollectiveAccess are stored locally in web-accessible locations defined in the media_volumes.conf configuration file.
๐๏ธ Annotation Editor
The Annotation Editor allows users to create and annotate clips for audio and video files in CollectiveAccess. These are useful for marking specific timestamps in an audio or video recording, and annotating with text.
๐๏ธ Embedding Media Metadata
CollectiveAccess allows embedding metadata from related records into downloaded media files. This is useful, for instance, to embed copyright or licensing information into an image file before it โleavesโ a system.
